Grooming a plant involves the following:
 Removing wilted or withering leaves, flowers, and stems using sharp scissors or shears
 Pinching out new growth if plant is getting spindly or thin
 Staking when young to avoid crooked stems
 Dusting so the stoma is not blocked
 Loosening soil around the base to allow air to enter and water to percolate through it
 Misting with a diluted solution of mild dishwashing soap and water to control insects

arrangement is an art.
