Answer to Question 1

Wastewater treatment plant operators manage municipal wastewater treatment facilities. They test water for
quality as it enters the facility, throughout its time in the plant, but most importantly as it exits the facility. They
operate sophisticated equipment and computerized facilities. Their primary responsibility is to treat wastewater so
that it can be returned to the natural water cycle. Wastewater treatment plant operators usually must have at least
a high school diploma.

Answer to Question 2

Meteorologists study the atmosphere. The most familiar meteorologists are probably the weather forecasters on
television. The minimum educational requirement to enter this profession is a bachelor's degree in an appropriate
discipline.
