Answer to Question 1

Rangeland, also known as range, grassland, or prairie, refers to the land areas of the world that tend to be naturally
covered by grasses, grass-like plants, forbs, and shrubs as the primary vegetation instead of trees

Answer to Question 2

In strip-mining, very large areas are laid bare. This creates huge runoff and sedimentation problems. Reclamation
is an attempt to return the mining site to something resembling its appearance before the mining operation
