Answer to Question 1

Balancing factors in nature are those things that place limits on the members of an ecosystem. The carrying capacity
of a given area for a given species of wildlife is determined by available, appropriate foods, water, shelter, and
predators. Diseases, starvation, and predation help maintain a degree of balance in nature

Answer to Question 2

Many people talk about the balance of nature. There is not an accurate balance in nature. Nature is constantly
changing. Everything exists in some degree of equilibrium, but the equilibrium is always changing. At the same
time, many factors limit the range within which any given organism can thrive
