Answer to Question 1

a. Which thread color is on top?
The answer to this question will vary depending upon the specific arrangement
of colored threads on the slide. You will need to be certain to request an answer
key from the vendor when ordering your slides. Carolina Biological Supply
produces thread slides with several different thread color arrangement
optionsa teacher's guide is usually shipped with your order for these slides.
b. Which is in the middle?
You will need to check the answer key for the slides that you have purchased.
c. Which is on the bottom?
See the answer key that was shipped with your slides from the vendor.



Answer to Question 2

When the slide is moved to the left on the microscope stage, the object as viewed
through the ocular will appear to move to the right. Similarly, when the slide is
moved up on the microscope stage, the object will appear to move down in the
field of view through the ocular.
