Answer to Question 1

Features of an effective display include its simplicity, suggested use for the product,
small size, completeness, coordination with advertising, condition of plants, neatness,
lighting, and freshness.

Answer to Question 2

The two types of advertising are immediate response advertising, which is to make
customers reach for the telephone, visit the business website, or come into the store
soon after reading or hearing the advertisement, and attitude advertising, which is
designed to build the reputation of the business. A business must know its customer
base and habits in order to determine which method is most effective.
