Answer to Question 1

pruning - it removes the source of the infection
watering without wetting leaves - it prevents spread of disease organisms in water weeding- diseases frequently attack more than one species of plant, and weed removal can eliminate one of the host plants of the disease
removing dead leaves from around diseased plants - disease organisms frequently overwinter in leaf debris, so removing debris removes the source of re-infection
