Answer to Question 1

C
Large meals should be avoided close to bedtime. The last food ingested should be more than three hours before bedtime. Foods that cause indigestion or heartburn should be avoided throughout the day.

Answer to Question 2

2. Perform Kegel exercises

Rationale: Urinary incontinence after surgery is not unexpected. Teaching the client Kegel exercises is the best way to help him eliminate or remove occasions of stress incontinence. Restricting fluids may cause further urinary problems and is not advised. Medication or Foley catheters are not appropriate long-term treatments for this complication.
