Answer to Question 1

C
Cystic fibrosis is a major dysfunction of all exocrine glands that affects the lungs, pancreas, liver, and reproductive organs. The disorder is characterized by an increased viscosity of mucus, elevated sweat electrolytes, and increased enzymatic constituents in the saliva. Commercially prepared pancreatic enzymes are given with meals and snacks to aid digestion and absorption of fats and proteins.

Answer to Question 2

Pain is considered to be subject data. The most reliable indicator to use in determining a client's level of pain is the client's self-report of pain.
