Answer to Question 1

2
Rationale 1: Gloves are removed first, taking care not to touch the skin with the contaminated side of the material, then the mask is removed, and finally the gown is removed. After all equipment is removed, hand hygiene should be performed. If the gown and mask are touched after hand hygiene is performed, the hands are contaminated by touching the contaminated equipment. It is never appropriate to allow a used mask to remain hanging around the neck.

Answer to Question 2
