Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Esomeprazole must be swallowed whole, not cut, crushed, or chewed, which would interfere with its effectiveness. The drug should not be taken with an antacid, which could interfere with absorption. The drug is taken once a day, not with each meal.

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
Nitrous oxide is a potent analgesic; it is used frequently for dental surgery because it does not cause muscle relaxation. It moves quickly in and out of the body so duration of action is short and recovery after dental work is quick. Nitrous oxide does need to be given in combination with oxygen to avoid hypoxia in the patient.

This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
