Answer to Question 1

Sanjun (sung or instrumental dance music in eight-beat phrases and simple meter)
Vacacin (non-dance music for harp alone without meter and in long, descending cycles.
Vacacin music is used at the beginning of the wake to drive away the devil and again later to accompany the adorning of the child and the closing of the casket.

Answer to Question 2

Wawa velorio is a ritual ceremony or wake for a deceased child.
This widespread ritual (in rural Latin America) preserves musical traditions of the community, such as genre (type of music), traditional instruments, and dances.
