Answer to Question 1

Data relating to accomplishment of a company's strategic objectives should be collected, analyzed, and reviewed at periodic intervals to assess whether or not progress is being made toward accomplishment of those objectives.

Answer to Question 2

Two techniques may be used. One approach is to make personal contact with decision makers in customer firms, and the other is to send surveys to customers at the completion of projects.
