Answer to Question 1

Using dyads might be more advantageous than using rounds when the leader wants members to be able to process something in depth but does not have much time, since it takes less time for two to share than to have everyone share in depth in the group. Dyads may also build energy in the group, since each member participates more than he or she would in a round. If the leader wants to check in with a member who has a particularly emotional reaction to something, pairing him or herself with the member might give the leader more information and allow the member to express something more fully than if the member has to share in front of the entire group.

Answer to Question 2

B
