Answer to Question 1

False

Answer to Question 2

In order for a change in purpose of a group to go smoothly, the leader will want to discuss the possible change in the purpose with the members and make certain all the members can agree and are comfortable with the new purpose the group is taking on. The leader will want to pace the transition rather than making it too abrupt. As the leader sees potential benefits of a shift in purpose for the members, she will want to explain these benefits as well as any potential risks that might be involved.
