Answer to Question 1

It is imperative to be aware of how each culture views personal space.
Due to the fact that individuals from different cultures view space differently, it is easy to overstep boundaries without being aware.
For example, some cultures regard entering without permission, staring, overpowering smells (perfumes and colognes) as a personal invasion.
As a result of such common things, it is important to be aware of what may trigger an upset prior to engaging in any type of counseling.
