Critics of the disease model, including psychologists and philosophers, suggest that the idea of loss of control in addiction is logically inconsistent. What is meant by this?
 
  a) The intention to use is formed after actual consumption.
  b) Cravings and desire, not behaviors, become out of control.
  c) Because loss of control happens only after ingesting a substance, the person would have no craving when sober (or clean).
