Answer to Question 1

Students might focus on the Framework of Support, with its goals for the student of access to the core curriculum and social integration through differentiated teaching, or on the Unified Plans of Support, specifying academic adaptations and communication and social supports.

Answer to Question 2

Students can focus on any of the major IDEA provisions, including:

 IEPs.
 Least restrictive environment.
 Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE)
