Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: b

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: The basic concept is that misbehavior should not necessarily be followed by punishment of one sort or another, but with attempts to understand the causes or antecedents of the misbehavior (Dunlop & Carr, 2007). The person working with the student can then introduce attempts to create a positive environment that would make the misbehavior unnecessary. If an educational climate where personal needs and interests are being met can be created, then less anger and cruelty that so often accompanies social transgressions will be generated by the student with EBD.
