ANSWER: The response should indicate that metacognition gives students the opportunity to reflect on their answer, while corrective feedback provides a correct answer. Students should be given time to allow for metacognition before corrective feedback is given.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: The response should indicate that reading aloud models skills such as fluency and new vocabulary, and helps to build additional background that is very important to comprehension.
