Answer to Question 1

I am trying to get the students to realize that we have to have some boundaries to go by in general, but that one size does not fit all. All nutrition food plans should be designed to meet needs on an individual basis. An athlete that is very large will need more than 250 grams of CHO while an inactive 5' older female would need a lot less CHO. You can add or take away from this question as you see fit.

Answer to Question 2

Original Weight - Final Weight = Loss of Weight 120 - 85 = 35 lbs

Loss of Weight/Original Weight x 100 =  Loss 35/120 x 100 = 29
