Answer to Question 1

C
Blood pressure of 152/94 mm Hg is considered stage 1 hypertension. Stage 1 hypertension is systolic blood pressure 140 to 159 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure 90 to 99 mm Hg. Stage 2 hypertension is systolic blood pressure >160 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure 110 mm Hg. Prehypertension is systolic blood pressure 120 to 139 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure 80 to 89 mm Hg. Normal blood pressure is systolic blood pressure <120 Hg.

Answer to Question 2

A
Primary or essential hypertension is caused by unknown factors. Sedentary lifestyle, excess so-dium intake, and being overweight or obese all contribute to hypertension and are all factors that can be modified to decrease blood pressure.

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
