Answer to Question 1

1
Rationale: The use of dietary supplements containing chamomile can cause allergic reactions in clients who are allergic to ragweed. Even though chamomile is an herb easily grown in any garden, and as such a natural product, it can still cause allergic reactions. If a client experiences a reaction to any product he should be careful not to use the product again since he may have a more severe reaction in the future.

Answer to Question 2

B
Lactase enzyme tables may be added to milk 24 hours before it is drunk to digest the lactose; this makes the milk suitable for patients with lactose intolerance. Lactobacillus acidophilus and yo-gurt are not necessarily better tolerated than regular milk. Vitamin D and calcium do not affect lactose intolerance, although patients with lactose intolerance may benefit from supplements of these nutrients if they have low intakes because they avoid milk.
