Answer to Question 1

B
Reintroducing nutrients too quickly to someone with marasmus can result in metabolic compli-cations known as refeeding syndrome. Dumping syndrome occurs in patients who have under-gone removal of all or part of their stomach. Nausea and vomiting is not usually caused by re-feeding. Overly aggressive refeeding may lead to rapid increases in weight, but these would be caused by fluid retention not increases in body fat.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
Nutritional supplements are only effective if they are consumed. To maximize their acceptance, serve liquid supplements cold.
