Answer to Question 1

C
Interventions for obese children should focus on healthy lifestyle behaviors including eating ha-bits and activity patterns. These may include low-fat food choices and increasing physical activ-ity, but need to evaluate and address factors contributing to obesity for the specific child. Gra-dual weight loss is not the goal. As lifestyle habits improve, a child may lose weight or maintain a fairly constant weight as their height increases until they reach a healthy weight for their height.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
At 6 months of age, the infant should be drinking small amounts from a cup when held by another person, and they should begin to eat mashed food from a spoon easily.
