Answer to Question 1

4
Rationale: Hypocalcemia affects muscle contraction and nerve conduction and can result in cardiac arrhythmias, muscle cramps, and numbness in the extremities and around the mouth. Tetany is the term used to describe the physical symptoms caused by low levels of calcium. Hypocalcemia does not cause diarrhea, headaches, or increased blood glucose.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
Vitamins are classified according to their solubility. Fat-soluble vitamins are vitamins A, D, E, and K. Water-soluble vitamins are vitamin C and the B vitamins. Solubility determines vitamin absorption, transportation, storage, and excretion.
