What are two ways to reduce reactivity of observation?

An individual with mental retardation frequently engages in aggressive behavior when he wants a break from a task at work. When he engages in aggressive behavior, he is required to continue working on the task, but if he asks for a break his behavior is reinforced with a break from the task. Answer to Question 1

Two ways to reduce reactivity are to wait until the individuals who are being observed become accustomed to the observer, or to have the observer record the behavior without the individuals knowing that they are being observed.
