Answer to Question 1

Answer: The team may wish to incorporate tests that measure Extraversion and Neuroticism. It has been shown that extraverts generally have higher concentrations of gray matter in the left amygdala as measured by MRI and that people high in Neuroticism generally have lower concentrations of gray matter in the right amygdala than people scoring low in Neuroticism.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Research suggests that extraverts experience more positive emotions and react to those emotions more strongly than introverts, but people high in Neuroticism experience more negative emotions and react to the more strongly than people low in Neuroticism. Extraverts experience more positive emotions and less negative emotions that people high in Neuroticism. People high in Neuroticism experience a good deal of day-to-day anxiety and moodiness, which may be attributable to their high reactivity. They may experience the same set of emotions as others, but react much more dramatically to them.
