substance abuse and provide counseling for other problems.
Intensive supervision probation is a form of probation in which the offender is placed under stricter and more frequent surveillance and control than in conventional probation. ISP officers have limited caseloads. There are a higher
o number of face-to-face contacts between offenders and officers. The main
goal of ISP is to provide prison-like control of offenders while keeping them out of prison. ISP can also be combined with rehabilitation programs.
