In a positive drive there is no design slippage of the belt at all. Most belts have teeth and use sprockets with teeth.

(2) Capable of higher pressures.
(3) Better suited for chemical sealing.
(4) Little or no shaft wear.
(5) Less maintenance, No adjustment necessary.
(6) Less friction, more efficient.
