 Young people often drink cola in place of milk or calcium-fortified juices. They don't get the recommended amounts of calcium and vitamin D to attain the maximum bone density.
 Cola is preserved with phosphoric acid, which may cause the bones to release more calcium instead of retaining calcium. This can lead to bone loss as well.
