Sisters Together: Move More, Eat Better illustrates the components of a comprehensive, effective program for adults. As a national initiative of the Weight-control Information Network (WIN), this health awareness program encourages African-American women ages 18 and older to maintain a healthy weight by becoming more physically active and by eating nutritious foods. It is a culturally relevant, community-based program that is flexible and can be tailored to African-American women of all ages, communities and demographics.
