Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

Many people believe that it is good to give all of the organs of the digestive system a rest during a juice cleanse. If there is little protein in the food, the stomach will not need to secrete as much hydrochloric acid or pepsin. If there is little fat in the foods of the cleanse, the liver will not need to release as much bile and the pancreas will not need to release as much lipase to break down the fats. It has not been shown that the organs of the digestive system need a rest to function optimally.

There can actually be a 25-hour time difference between certain locations in the world. The International Date Line passes between the islands of Samoa and American Samoa. It is not a straight line, but "zig-zags" around various island chains. Therefore, Samoa and nearby islands have one date, while American Samoa and nearby islands are one day behind. Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
