How is a trans fatty acid different from other unsaturated fatty acids?
 a. A trans fatty acid has at least two hydrogen atoms attached to each carbon atom in the chain

Omega 3 fatty acids help maintain the function and integrity of the brain tissue. This would help the neuronal tissue send electrical impulses more quickly as well as produce enough neurotransmitters.
