d

Answer to Question 2

Epidemiologic studies would be carried out. Surveys would need to be discrete such that women would be willing to divulge their actual drinking patterns in an anonymous survey format. These survey results could be compared to their children's performance on tests that measure factors of learning such as auditory processing or concentration. The surveys and children would need to be coded in such a way to prevent bias on the part of the researchers who are carrying out the study.
