Answer to Question 2

There are a number of options for research and publication for the dietetics professional. The dietitian may want to do original research and report the findings of that research either in professional journals and books or at professional conferences. Reporting research results is considerably more formal than writing instructions for patients, in the sense that there are certain organizational and stylistic conventions that must be adopted when reporting research. Other ideas and options include dietetic teaching and medical journalism.
