The program first teaches participants about the concept of achievement motivation. It then teaches people how to score TAT protocols and to think in terms of achievement imagery as often as possible. Finally, it encourages people to think about linking achievement imagery to specific patterns of action.
At follow-up, the people who had participated in the program were more successful in terms of starting new business ventures and employing more people.
