In addition to price, buyers should consider non-monetary incentives when choosing vendors. This includes reliability (e.g. on-time shipping, quality of product, etc), services offered (e.g. co-op advertising, POP displays, etc) and current distribution of the vendor in the buyer's market (e.g. does that vendor sell to the buyer's competitors?)
