Answer to Question 1

Answer: Cocaine is rapidly absorbed from the lungs into the blood stream and therefore rapidly enters the brain. Delay of reinforcement is an important variable in the reward process.

Answer: CRH released during stress releases glucocorticoids which directly impair immune cell function.
