VisitScotland and the Wales Tourist Board are expected to work in partnership with VisitBritain when undertaking overseas activities, but they are free to act independently in terms of domestic marketing.

Volatile time-series are often seasonal in nature including construction activity, food production, etc. The moving average smoothing technique is described in Table 20.3.
