Why is it difficult for Hispanic Americans to organize and achieve beneficial political change?
◦ Hispanic Americans are focused primarily on work and family, not political issues or activism.
◦ Many in the Hispanic population are afraid of deportation or detainment if they speak out.
◦ The Hispanic population is diverse, so they do not see themselves as having common interests.
