Answer to Question 1

Answer: Secure: Attachments marked by trust that the other will continue to provide love and support.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: You would first generate cognitive dissonance by simultaneously asking people about their attitudes toward recycling and by reminding them of the times that they failed to recycle cans or paper. Assuming that respondents hold positive recycling attitudes, but have on occasion failed to recycle, they will experience dissonance if they perceive this discrepancy as hypocrisy. To reduce the dissonance, they will be likely to change their behaviors to comply with their attitudes.
