Knowing:    A projectile is fired from the ground vertically upward with an initial velocity of 29 m/s and arrives at its max altitude in 3 seconds

In the absence of air friction, a projectile will always hit the ground at the same speed at which it was launched, providing the two points are the same elevation.

BTW, t = V/g = 29/9.81 = 2.956 sec (OK, so that's 3 sec to 1 sig fig...)

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.

A serious new warning has been established for pregnant women against taking ACE inhibitors during pregnancy. In the study, the risk of major birth defects in children whose mothers took ACE inhibitors during the first trimester was nearly three times higher than in children whose mothers didn't take ACE inhibitors.
