Kim works for a Fortune 500 company and has just been promoted to the position of regional manager. This will necessitate a move to California but her husband, Brock, works as a technician for a TV station in New York and he refuses to relocate.
 
  If Kim leaves and sets up residence in California, the law
  (a) considers Kim as having abandoned her husband.
  (b) regards Brock as having abandoned his wife.
