Can employees file a suit to recover back wages and overtime pay? If so, what are the limitations for FLSA violations?

When a dispute over the quality of the product arose, the Idaho resident sued the Maine company in Idaho state court. When the Maine company protested, the supreme court of Idaho, in Blimka v. Answer to Question 1

Yes, employees can file a suit to recover back wages and overtime pay plus liquidate damages in an equal amount. They may also seek reinstatement and may recover legal fees. The statute of limitations for violations is two years; for willful violations it is extended to three years.
