Answer to Question 1

Both drugs are used for estrogen-receptor-positive tumors.
Tamoxifen is taken daily for 5 years and works by blocking estrogen receptors.
Aromatase inhibitors are taken daily and work by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of androgenic steroids into estrogen; it is used for postmenopausal women.
