A patient has cancer and tells the provider not to tell family members about the diagnosis. When the medical assistant talks to the patient's daughter, she states, I am sorry to hear of your mom's illness.. What right has been violated?

A subpoena is a command to appear at a specified time and place to testify. A subpoena duces tecum is when the court commands a witness to produce at trial a certain pertinent document he or she holds.
