The tracheostomy tube would only be suctioned if indicated; this would not be a routine step to perform at all times. The other steps would routinely be performed prior to capping the tube.

Answer to Question 2

Correct Answer: 3

The pipe cleaner should not be used to dry the outside of the cannula, only the inside. The remaining steps are correct.
