The Muslims also profess to be an Abrahamic religion, although like the Jews, they deny that Jesus was the Son of God.  Mormons believe Jesus to be the Son of God.  Like all Abrahamic religions, both the Muslims and the Mormons believe in prophets.  They were both started by prophets.  Unlike Muslims, Mormons believe in modern day prophets, and an open and expanding canon of scripture.
