the pediatric nurse.

not define the standard of care.

Eating dry carbohydrates before arising will help prevent the nausea and vomiting triggered by getting out of bed in the morning, which is how the term morning sickness came about. Drinking soups and liquids in between meals and drinking ginger ale, as well as eating small frequent meals, help relieve nausea and vomiting of pregnancy but not morning sickness. Eating high-protein foods will not help relieve morning sickness.
